That's the thing:It wasn't creepy at the time. Just enraging because I obviously knew what I was talking about and she so obviously didn't. Even at 11 I wouldn't have got it, I'd bet, because our school sex-ed classes were rather light on technique. But even much later it didn't occur to me what was going on. It really did take 30 years for the penny to drop but it certainly felt creepy when it did. I guess you were similar.

I can relate to the 'Flippin'eck, so THAT'S what was going on!!' moment as it happened to me too.On a school trip when I was a skinny 10 year-old, a male teacher persuaded me to go back to the coach alone with him and suddenly pinned me down on my back on a seat.
Just as suddenly, he stood up and walked off. I was baffled so said nothing about it - what could I say? I knew nothing about sex and had no idea what he'd been up to.
Ten years later, after my own first baby was born, the incident came to mind and I understood what he'd been up to. Nothing serious had happened to me but I bet I wasn't the only kid he tried it on.
