My grannyMy granny lived in 'the olden days' and got a tapeworm. The treatment - according to her at least - was to get her sloshed on port and lemon and then issue something which killed the worm and, erm, flushed it out of her. I suppose getting her pissed was to relax her. She said that she could never touch port and lemon again because of the bad memories it brought back.
