Very cool, bit overstated though
Cosmic microwave background radiation (ie big bang echo) only makes up about 1% of the noise you hear as SW static. The rest is solar activity, distant thunderstorms, charged particles whizzing around the sky and occasionally, if you're pointing in the right direction, some noise from Jupiter.
