I read the book to my youngest lastyear then a couple of months later we watched the dvd (it'd been many years ago for me).
Cue lecture from the 6 yo. about how it was crap 'cause it had missed out all these bits from the book that were really important to the story. & here I was thinking she had been snoring sweetly all that time. Mind you she's getting god enough to read to herself now - another parental responsibility abrogated.
