The Weeping Angels. Didn't really click with me til the end of Blink. When it shows you all those statues everywhere. The empty child had me scared from the start.

Silence in the Library 2 part episode does it for me. Those empty suits, the ghosting personality chips, being picked clean in seconds, the alt reality, all of it. Plus first appearance of River Song, who I think is great!
