I was quite disappointed with the filmThere was so much missing, and I don't mean the preteen gang-bang. There were 5 interludes in the book where someone is trying to piece together the history of the clown that appears every 30 years or so.
It may seem really hackneyed, but the book is superior, though a good 1000 pages long.
