It's not that bitIt's the bit where they're all underground and dying and piled on top of each other and scrabbling through each other to try and get out
Though I later watched that film on acid when I was at university and it cured me of any childhood hangups about it. They're just rabbits, after all.

In later life I just assumed it was a metaphorfor something else, maybe a reflection on human scoiety. Can't find any evidence that it ever was, so imo the film is a horror movie for kids.
