HospitalsStuck a (sterile non-AIDS-infested) syringe clean through my thumb - with 2 cm of it poking out on the other side. My supervisor was pissing himself laughing for hours, as was everyone else in the immediate area.
Im fairly sure the tears were from the pain - i was quite manly about it until a nurse offered to clean and plaster the hole i made for me :)
