Cinema Paradisowhen the young guy tells the girl that he loves her and she says she doesn't love him, and he says that he will stand out in front of her window every single night and wait for her to love him, and then he proceeds to do so.
it didn't make me cry at the time, but just the other day, over a year ago, i thought of it and burst into tears at the sadness of it.
oh, and in Mr. Holland's Opus when John Lennon dies?
I sobbed.
