This is a question Customers from Hell

The customer is always right. And yet, as 'listentomyopinion' writes, this is utter bollocks.

Tell us of the customers who were wrong, wrong, wrong but you still had to smile at (if only to take their money.)

Have "Merkans" any braincells ?
This didn't happen to me, but a story relayed during my residence in the tourist magnet that is Cambridge.
American tourist approaches the official at the gate of Kings College, and wanting to appear all-knowing in front of the rest of the assembled party from across the water asks "Tell me sir, is this building pre-war?"
The official looks at said tourist and with all the wit he could muster replied, " The building sir is pre America !!!"

That one is a bit old
Brits aren't always that bright when they come over here either, you know. A friend of mine from London was came over last year and was to be in the New York area for a few months. He emailed me before he left London asking if I could take a few days off to get together as he would pop over to my house (in Texas). I told him the distance would be too great for a quick drive than he thinks (it is about 2500 km between my town and NYC) and he thought I was just putting him off. Naturally when he got here, he called and said, "Bloddy hell! Your country is fucking huge! I had no idea."

Just goes to show, tourists are sometimes the same no matter where they come from or where they are going.
