Right nowThere are four mothers in my work, each with a sprog in arm, 3 of which are screaming. They're doing nothing.

Because......when you have a sprog of your own, you very quickly get to tell what is an important cry, and what is a cry that means "I'm bored".
And then you tune the latter out. You only notice it when single people ask you how you stand the noise, and you say "What noise?"
Luckily, I'm past that stage, as the kids are getting bigger. Now I only have to tune out the wife*.
