This is a question Dad stories

"Do anything good for your birthday?" one of your friendly B3TA moderator team asked in one of those father/son phone calls that last two minutes. "Yep," he said, "Your mum." Tell us about dads, lack of dad and being a dad.

Oh...
I'm not allowed to cut my daughter's fingernails any more as I, apparently, cut them too short - What's a little redness between family.

This morning
My daughter told me that I was rubbish at brushing her hair - she has very curly and knotty hair and the brush we use is really old and perfect for her hair but it does snag a lot - Mummy is gentle and teases the knots out whereas I go for the pull really hard until the knot breaks free....

Shave her head.
It's the only way to be sure.

Alternatively, if she's young enough, give her some chewing gum, and wait for her to wonder what it would be like if she wrapped it in her hair.

It's what I did as a kid and it worked a treat. Well, if your idea of "working a treat" is having your head shaved getting a spanking and no supper, but I certainly ended up bald for a while.
