Reminds me of my brother.He talked to my brother, my friend, and me about how 'stoned' my aunt was at a family get-together -- he meant drunk, since only my little bro and myself have ever tried 'drugs'.

"Stoned" was the right word,it's just more common to hear it used in reference to cannabis use, as we have so many other, more popular, words for drunk.
