ok, I'll let you in on the secret
There is a little bump on the F key and the J key, that way you can FEEL where your fingers are on the keyboard.

T is above and right of the F, H is two keys right, E is above and to the left. D is one key left, A is 3 left, R is directly above, and K is 1 right of J.

Memorise that, and you can type: "The dark" with your eyes closed.

You can't really be expected to have the brain functions to type as well. Stick to the mouse. It's only got one button, so it can't be too confusing.

I'm sleepy. But I do know that my apple mouse with loadsa buttons is almost 4 years old.
I tend to just get confused and use my trackpad instead...
