I think it's deliberate.I don't see any of the errors of understanding I'd expect to see from someone who learned English as a second language.
For example, most of my European colleagues and acquaintances have better English than a good deal of English and American people I have known.

I reckonIt’s a disgruntled ex-b3ta'n who got chased out of town for bad spelling and grammar and has come back to haunt everyone with streams of bad spelling consciousness.
