I went for an MRI scan recentlyOn the questionnaire it asked if I had any metal plates or pins, replacement hip joints and even any stents. The one that amused me was 'have you ever worked with metal turning or grinding equipment?
I pictured someone inside the scanner suddenly having 20 years worth of tiny filings coming out of them like wire wool.
