Majoringram tells us: I once had a wart on my hand and went to the doc to get it frozen. It hurt, lots. Instead of having to go back for more, I got my trusty rambo knife and cut the thing off. Three years later, and not even a scar!

That's not a good plan.
It's likely a sebaceous cyst. If you burst such things they'll come back. It's a simple matter to have them removed under a local anaesthetic, but if they've burst it can be a bugger to get all of the cyst wall out, which means they can reform.
Harmless, right enough, but annoying.
