I once stood on a garden rake to see if it worked the same way as it does in the cartoons. That is to say, to see if it would snap upwards, smack me in the face with the same force and texture of a baseball bat and knock me out cold.

I've not done that
But I did remove a toenail by kicking a brick wall as if I was toe-punting a football.
I also broke my foot.

I like this lots.
Because even though the Simpson's writers admitted it was just 'filler', that scene where Sideshow Bob stands on about 30 rakes makes me piss myself.
