I drank
nail varnish remover in my sleep.

I awoke to a nasty taste and a nearly empty bottle of Boots best in my hand. Cue rainbow yawning the whole night.

The next day people near me said they could smell paint stripper somewhere. I was only brave enough to tell a small handful that the smell was actually my breath.

Similarly but nowhere near as badly
I have attempted to put contact lenses in with nail varnish remover on my hands at least three times in the last two weeks.

Didn't actually sting that much, but one of my eyes really aches now and I'm starting to get a little paranoid about it.

Any doctor types fancy reassuring me that I haven't potentially caused some damage?

Our Maude says nip into your optician and get it checked. Nail varnish remover could damage your cornea apparently. Best to be safe than sorry. She works in an opticians. (Less likely if its a none-acetone remover)
