I was given a day's work as an extra on a drama series a few years ago.I showed up on set in one of Dublin's best pubs, the extras handler bought me a pint and said he'd be back in a few minutes.
A few minutes later he returned and said the scene I was supposed to be in was cancelled.
One day's pay to drink a pint.
Fantastic.
