This is a question Eccentrics

We all know someone who's a little bit strange - Mum's UFO abduction secret, or the mad Uncle who isn't allowed within 400 yards of Noel Edmonds.

Tell us about your family eccentrics, or just those you've met but don't think you're related to.

God
We had a guy at university who we named "god" because he was everywhere all of the time.

Strange guy, middle aged, with a strange growth on his head (no punch line sorry, he just had a lump on his head).

No matter where you were he was there. Library, Refrectory, Old Bar, Harvey Milk bar, refectory. Even the Poly bop he was there. Different courses, different Universities, everyday, everyone in the house had seen him that day.

If you went to Leeds you probably saw him. I dare say he's still there.

Aparantly there was another one
down at Kitson College. A mate of mine witnessed them both being in the same pub in conversation with each other.

No sign of the holy ghost though.

there's a bloke like this in our college
but I think its only cos he doesn't want to miss anything, and intends to spread his irritating ways as far and wide as possible

Yeah, strange, middleaged, no headlump that I've seen though

Yeah, I saw him once or twice...
I was there 1995-1999 and we also had an old fella who would walk through campus (or quite often sit on the little island outside the Union steps), who would be dressed smartly in a blue pinstripe suit, yet would be muttering to himself, with the occassional burst of loud ranting argument - with himself. Other times he'd just walk through campus from the cab rank up past the union and out towards Hyde Park. He'd always be carrying a carrier bag with a few bits of paper in it (no large bottle of cider to explain his actions, though). He might also yelp or growl at strangers at random.

He were a right nutter...

There was a guy like this who used to turn up to all concerts and events.

Once, during the interval of a concert I was singing in he asked to see my music.

He blew his nose on it!
