is just one of those fucked up places. I've lived here as a "Catholic" (I'm actually Atheist but was born into it) all my life.

It's funny lately how people I've called friends for many years have suddenly become anti Catholic. Maybe that's a little harsh, but I've noticed a few remarks here and there. I surmise it's down to the recent antics of dissident republicans.

It's quite clear that religion has fuck all to do with it, and everything to do with the 'freedom fighters' (on both sides) being criminal, antisocial scum who have some politics to blame their frankly-retarded fight on.

I was trying to make is that the shit that's been going on here is succesfully driving a wedge between two communities. People who ordinarily are tolerant of each other.
