When the towers fell......we lost The Most Useless Thing In The World (tm). At the top of the tower, in the visitor centre, there was a room containing a model of New York City.
Now, call me old fashioned, but it strikes me that the ONE place you don't need a model of a city is THE TOP OF THE TALLEST BUILDING IN IT!
And yes, if the attacks had happened just three years earlier, I would have been in the tower. Spooky.

Some of them are grief thieves in a more literal sense......remember the story about the fuck-nuggets that claimed that they lost family members on 9/11 to get hefty cash payouts?
