I managed a night out on a fiver around 11 years ago.
1 jug of Jelly Bean, split between 2, cost me the fiver.

My exes drunk and forgetful gran kept buying booze for her husband and then realising he had gone home, providing me with the remaining ingredients for a hangover.

I went out once on 52p
was dragged down to a nightclub with a few mates who all knew of my predicament and they happily all chipped in a pint each to keep me there.

I chuck the 50p in a fruit machine while I'm there and win £20. That bought a few more pints, some food on the way home and a taxi-ride too.

I woke up the next morning with the mother of all hang-overs and 67p left over, utter utter result :D
