This is a question Pointless Experiments

Pavlov's Frog writes: I once spent 20 minutes with my eyes closed to see what it was like being blind. I smashed my knee on the kitchen cupboard, and decided I'd be better off deaf as you can still watch television.

The One and Only
Me and my mate Richard have spent today trying to establish how many times you can hear the Chesney Hawkes classic "The One and Only" before you want to disembowel yourself with a stale kipper.....

52 plays and counting.

Length? 3 minutes 43 seconds.

Pop.

Edit: Richard has just raised his arms triumphantly and proclaimed "I'M MENTIONED ON B3TA". Click I like this if I should tell further, more embaressing tales of him.

re-edit: Made it to 100 and felt like a part of me had died inside, turned it off. tomorrow: Rick Astley.

Argh.
I do hope that song doesn't now get stuck in my head, or I'll be looking to disembowel someone else with a stale kipper...

Enzyme
The only cure is to sing anything else... I had The One & Only locked in a fierce battle with Purple Haze for a while (not sure why my brain chose that song, but hey).

Luckily Hendrix won over Hawkes, as should always be the case.

Would you?
Ok, proposition;

If you could ban Chesney for life, the condition being that you spent 24 hours listening to his records (Richard proclaims to have just bought the newest one 'for his girlfriend'), would you?

Graham Norton
Does anyone recall Chesney being on the Graham Norton show a few months back? He surprised a girl from the audience who had a thing for him and snogged her face off on national TV......

It was Richard's girlfriend.

Edit: Fiancée, sorry Richard.
