Don't know.But I know the one you mean. There was a similar one at the London Trocadero. I went on it when I was twelve. Scared the shit out of me for years.

I vaguely remember going on that exact ride at American Adventure. At least I think it was American Adventure... my memory is hazy at best.

Yep - American Adventure also had one.I think the ride itself was called a Motion Master.
