was that the one in the fun houseI went there about 35 years ago and the death slide was the first i ever saw. Scared the shit out of me as an 8 year old that's for sure.

yep, the very same, no frigging health and safety nonsense back then, just a bloody big drop and lots of kids pushing to the front to have a crack at it first!
