This is a question Faking it

Rakky writes, "We've all done it. From qualifications to orgasms, everyone likes to play 'let's pretend' once in a while."

So when have you faked it? Did you get away with it? Or were your mendacious ways exposed?

I've applied for another job with Eurostar
and while everything I put in the application is true, in interview-ese I can't help feeling like a fraud and I'm sure I'm coming unstuck on Wednesday as a result.

Well good luck anyway
On august 4th, I start a job that I applied for as a way of getting that company to see my CV for future reference- if you'd asked me after I sent it if they would interview me I'd have laughed as I thought I didn't have a chance. I'm excited in a terrified way but I feel a bit like a fraud too.

I guess we have a poorer view of ourselves than others do of us.

I too hate the whole job interview thing
I've never enjoyed being centre of attention, and interviews make me nervous. It does give you one hell of an adrenaline rush, though, and the feeling you get when it's all over is amazing.

My thoughts are with you - I'm sure you'll be great. Just remember - they'll be lucky to have you as an employee.

Let us know how you get on...

I bet if you weren't female and therefore innately more interesting than most of the QOTW dullards,
people would more readily tell you to fuck off and stop treating this board like a blog.

Why are you attacking Maladicta? Post was on topic, so what, pray, is the problem?
And good luck, Maladicta. I always feel a fraud when I go to an interview, even though I have 20 years experience in my chosen field.
