This is a question Famous people I hate

Michael McIntyre, says our glorious leader. Everyone loves Michael McIntyre. Even the Daily Mail loves Michael McIntyre. Therefore, he must be a git. Who gets on your nerves?

Hint: A list of names, possibly including the words 'Katie Price' and 'Nuff said' does not an interesting answer make

Aw...
...sounds like there's a distinct lack of hugs round here. Let's get some love going in the room.

If you dislike celebrities this much, go on a media strike. Get rid of the TV (no license required, you can watch all the good stuff online anyway), stop buying tabloid newspapers and (especially)celebretard magazines and fill your time with something more relaxing / less irritating instead.

Celebrities are like fairies, if you stop believing in them they lose all their powers.

Shame about
everyone else reading/watching/whatevering them and then talking about them.

If I had friends that vacuous I'd lose them fast.
And if they're not friends WGAF?

Hmmm...
You know, I got rid of the cable TV about a year ago because it was more than I could afford. My daughter would come home from school and turn on the VH-1 and MTV shows like Rock of Love, so part of my house became uninhabitable to me during that time, so getting rid of it actually improved the quality of life in my home immediately.

Since then, I've fallen out of touch with most of the current TV pop culture. I couldn't begin to tell you what the current shows on TV are, and when I see celebs on the supermarket tabloids now most of the time I have no idea who they are. It took ages for me to find out who Lady Gaga is, and even now I only have a vague awareness of her- I've never seen her videos or heard her perform. And you know what? I'm fine with that.

I'm starting to think that I may never get it switched on again.

I'm abroad with no telly
It's brilliant actually. I'm sort of in touch enough to have a vague idea of what's going on, and can pretty well bluster my way through idle chatter, but out of the poo-vortex of pop-culture. I can ignore the odd Heat magazine in the newstands, and noone on the bus stop is talking about X Factor.

Then my friends at home act as a kind of filtration system so that anything truely worthwhile I still hear about and can then track down. Wonderful.
