Michael McIntyre, says our glorious leader. Everyone loves Michael McIntyre. Even the Daily Mail loves Michael McIntyre. Therefore, he must be a git. Who gets on your nerves?

...what do you reckon (to quote a well-known duo)?
Couldn't agree more. Funny, but I'd rather my licence fee/Sky sub was spent on securing interviews with people close to the issue at hand, or at least possessing a useful knowledge of the subject. An informed debate is surely more interesting than "Er, well, it's not right is it, I mean, yer know..."
And while we're at it, why does Joe get a bored hack, cameraman and sound man dispatched behind the lines in Daventry, while Rageh Omaar and John Simpson have to 'webcam' their copy in on their own?
