He knows Jamie Oliver- I think he was at school with him, or something. He loaned him a bunch of cash to get his farm started in the first place. And helped to get him on telly, no doubt, since the talent vacuum is fairly obvious.
His girlfriend is quite attractive as well, though, so perhaps that helps.
