Misery
I just love that bit when Kathy Bates says, "God, I love you," to James Caan - then proceeds to annihilate his ankle with some specie of mallet.
Actually I thought Dolores Clayborne was bloody brilliant, too.

Misery?
Good fucking god - that was one of the worst adaptations of a Stephen King novel I have ever seen, along with Dreamcatcher (having read the books first obviously)

Oh.
Dreamcatcher wasn't that bad, was it? I seem to remember lots of farting and some strange little green beasties with huge teeth. What's not to like about that?

True - there was that
but having read the book first, I was expecting so much more. And they changed the ending completely and ruined it.

Had I watched the film first I probably would have liked it more

Dreamcatcher
Dreamcatcher was a steven king novel :O
*Smacks head on desk*
That explains the dire lack of plot

And another thing
I read the book about Dolores "Claiborne", and thought it was ok for a 300 page monologue by an old poorly educated maid, dealing with truly innane personal problems *Feel sorry for her poorly portrayed daughter though*

Anyhoo, back to the point. They made a movie about it :G
