We love watching films and we're always looking for interesting things to watch - so tell us the best movie you've seen and why you enjoyed it.

I'm going to predict...
That the new Batman film makes it into my favourite films, but I am not going to see it until Thursday so unless the QOTW change is massively late I can't say for sure!

From what I have seen Heath Ledger's Joker looks absolutely fantastic and the previous film, Batman Begins, really took the franchise back to the dark and slightly sinister origins after the travesty of Batman & Robin (I like cheesy films, I like Legally Blonde 1&2 but Batman and Robin was too bad even by my standards).

Also the new Batmobile is sweet, it's like a hummer on steroids crossed with a tank on acid.

Length: 152 min

yup
great film - although i had no idea what was happening most of the time, and i hate batman's voice, heath ledger was amazing - truly chilling - and aaron eckhart is rather lovely. watch out for the disappearing pencil trick...

Lets hope the QOTW change isnt massivly late :D
I too think this is going to be a great film. But I dont want people to think Heath Ledger is awesome in it - just because he's dead now. Im sure he's very good though. Ive liked all his other stuff.

I have....
read many Batman comics. Any specific ones you wish me to read?

I quite liked the one where Batman and Superman were fighting and Batman being a sneaky bastard made some kryptonite gloves and beat the crap out of Superman.

That'll learn 'im.

2 and a half hours I'll never get back
Now I'm not the biggest Batman fan in the world but I went to see it with an open mind and I can honestly say it was shite. I think Heath played the Joker terrifically but he is honestly the best thing about the movie (and I'm not saying that out of some twisted respect for the dead, he was actually the best actor in the movie and IMO played the part better than Jack Nicholson).
And I think Christian Bale makes a terrible Batman! I agree with vit c up there, Batman's voice is terrible. And I didn't get what was going on half the time either. It's not that I'm dumb, I just think there was loads of unnecessary stuff in there that wasn't really relevant to the story, and a few loose ends that were left hanging too.

I agree though, the Batmobile looks excellent, shame it's not as sturdy as it looks....

(And as a side note... did anyone else find it slightly annoying that you never see the Joker with fresh make-up? Every time he appears it looks like he's just danced the night away at a sweaty rave club and woke up in a ditch.)
