Fire!We were all in my aunt's kitchen at the back of her huge rambling Victorian house. I was only small and had wandered off to go to the loo, but given up after finding the hall full of smoke. "That was quick," my mum said after a few minutes. "Yes - it's all smoky," I replied.
I've never seen adults move so fast.
So, like my cousin who'd managed to set fire to the roof, tell us your fire stories.

SchoolWas nearing the end of term. We were in our class when the fire alarm went off. "Probably someone mucking around" said the teacher. The alarm got turned off after 20 seconds or so. About a minute later it went off again, and was quickly turned off. It went off for a third time, this time it didnt go off so we went out onto the playing field where we learnt that there was actually a fire, in the toilets, next to the science rooms!
It took about 15 minutes from the first fire alarm until we actually started to leave the building!
