Have you ever started a fire?I went to sleep with candles burning - woke up to a circle of flame on the rug. Thought, "Tits. Better put the rug in the bath and turn the taps on." TIP: Don't put a burning rug into a fibre glass bath. I caused about £5000 of damage to the house and was coughing up smoky black phlegm for a few weeks. Can you beat that?

Tip . . .If you have been foolish/unfortunate* enough to set your/have someone set your* waste paper bin on fire and are planning on stamping the flames out with your foot, check your footwear first. Plastic/Jelly sandles have a disconcerting tendancy to start burning and melting all over the floor/carpet/your foot, in a hot, burny, melty and smelly way. Damn funny to watch someone else doing it though, gave me hiccups for an hour.
