when i came to uni in londonone of the theatres was showing "animal farm". my new flatmate ginger emma stared at it in horror. "that's fucking disgusting" she said.
it took me a while to convince her that it was a classic novel quite some time before the title was stolen for smut.
it took her much longer to live it down.
