Love most of his booksbut he comes across as a ranty nutter in a couple of them. Understandably so I guess, considering the amount of retards he must have to deal with. But he's also got himself partly to blame because he is rather opinionated on the subject.
He's at his best when he's talking about evolutionary biology and refusing to engage with creationists and at his worst when he abandons his scientific subject in favour of attacking those who annoy him.
