This is a question First World Problems

Onemunki says: We live in a world of genuine tragedy, starvation and terror. So, after hearing stories of cruise line passengers complaining at the air conditioning breaking down, what stories of sheer single-minded self-pity get your goat?

If I was a government, and I found myself sanctioning the formation of a police "Anti Party Squad"
...then I think I might pause for a while and wonder if my priorities didn't perhaps need a little tweaking.

I wonder
What protective measures they take to protect themselves from all that deadly errant silly string or if they are sanctioned to open fire if someone is armed with a party popper?

More royalties for the Beastie Boys, no doubt!

Police forces across the UK have Anti-Party Squads
Who try to prevent / close down illegal warehouse parties and "raves".

I've always thought that the meeting where they decided to form an Anti-Party Squad would have been bizarre to listen to. Did not one person there feel uncomfortably like the Taliban religious police, attempting to put a stop to all that sinful music and dancing?

Ah right! Cheers.
I've only been gone 3 years and I know nowt about what's happening.

I agree, I just wish someone would have introduced some robust laws against making your neigbour's life hell with noise.
I had a right old shitty time in my last year in the UK, reaching the point that I had to be restrained by t'wife from taking an axe to the electric supply of next door at 4 AM.

Council were fucking useless. A strongly worded letter really puts the wind up rapper scum, oh yes indeed.

The sort of person who thinks about whether their priorities are right or wrong
doesn't go into politics.

So very sad....
...and yet so true.
