Things we do to fit in
"When I was fifteen," writes No3L, "I curled up in a Budgens trolley while someone pushed it through the supermarket doors to nick vodka and Benny Hedgehogs, just to hang out with my brother and his mates."
What have you done to fit in?

Smoking
Yup I started smoking to fit in with the in crowd.
All it did was give me a 20+ a day habit, and the realiseation that I didn't need to fit in, some people liked me for who I was!
Now 24 years later I am stopping smoking!

Well done
Just stopped myself. As of September last year. I did start with the patches, but got fed up and stopped using them in october and been fine since.
Nowadays I don't even think of having a smoke unless someone is near me smoking and I smell it, and even then it's just a 'mmmmm nicotine' moment, and easily ignored.
I've even been blind drunk and refused a smoke when offered so I think I can say I've stopped now :)
Considering this was my fourth attempt I am very proud of myself for actually succeeding. I was stuck for a new years resolution this year though :(
