PieMade a lovely looking meat pie and left it on the worktop to snare the food thief.
The filling? Supermarket own brand dog food.
Found the missing slice in the bin and a pool of vomit in the sink and the perpetrator in the living room looking quite green.

As matter of trivia;EU regulations state that pet food must meet the same standards of being fit for human consumption as food intended for humans. The only difference, then, between dog food and an actual pie filling would be that the dog food usually has less salt, making it actually better for you than most pie fillings or tinned meats.
Of course, I don't know what country you're in.
