This is a question Stuff I've found

Freddy Woo writes, "My non-prostitute-killing, lorry driving uncle once came home with a wedding cake. Found it in a layby, scoffed the lot over several weeks."

What's the best thing you've found?

i've found that
superglueing 50p to the floor in an area heavily saturated with smackheads can give several hours of amusement, watching the pikey scumbags trying to prise it off the pavement.

Hmmm
Did this once, while I was working at Nottingham university.

Stuck a 50p piece to a concrete paving slab just outside my office window. As I was next door to the composites lab, where they know about glues and resins, got some two-part epoxy for greater strength and borrowed a hot air gun to make it cure quicker.

The first victim was one of the lab techs. Oh how we chortled as he stooped and failed to collect his prize!

Two minutes later, we failed to get our second "victim". It was the same lab tech as before, except this time he'd brought a lump hammer, a cold-chisel and an air of dogged determination with him...

A group of lads
in my University halls used to do this sort of thing all the time.

They once glued a couple of pound coins to the road outside the block in plain view of every room, then all of them --probably 30 students-- would wait patiently, peering over their window sills.

When the hapless victim bent down and began scrabbling at the shiny bait, they would cheer "HOORAY!" in loud, happy unison.

Good times.

I have...
seen this done with a pound coin glued to a bar in the pub.

Then a CCTV camera was pointed at the coin and the signal displayed on a tv round the corner in the bar.

Thus whenever someone new frequented the pub and tried to pick up said coin the people drinking in the pub all saw on the tv and could make offensive comments. It was a crap pub.
