Being the CEO for BP myself......I am sure you will agree that our only duty is to our shareholders; those people who have taken the risk in investing with us.
If the public wish to benefit from our business acumen; then they should invest in us too, rather than bleating to the press like whiny little peasants.
They clearly have no clue of how the world works.
