Proof
I think one of the problems is that atheists have no more respect for someone's beliefs than any other opinion that they might hold, so religion becomes an interesting discussion rather than something you have to avoid talking about in fear of offending someone.

It's also much more noticeable when someone openly disagrees with you - personally I've found a large number of believers have tried to convert me, whereas I have no problem with fellow atheists! The "opposition" stands out a lot more.

"One thing I have noticed though is that a lot of atheists are far worse than a lot of the christians I know when it comes to pushing what they believe. They demand proof and of course unless you are able to come back from the dead be it a scientific breakthrough or a holy miracle you will never be able to give this proof, so then your labelled as a freak and a loon."

Personally I like talking about religion because I'd love to be shown any evidence - I don't need absolute proof.
