birthday thingthe only celebration on the jw's calendar that is allowed by their church is easter - no xmas for them, no birthdays. i think the reasoning is that there is no record of these celebrations being held in the bible and/or they glorify the individual. but jesus held his own party some time over easter (see the last supper), so it's okay for jw's to celebrate easter.
