but the statment IS meaningless to thembecause anyone religious is hardly going to look at it and go "Oh my. well, in one sentence my faith is shattered. There is no God. Well done Hume"
so why waste time thinking about it? It's meaningless to the non-religious and of no consequence to the religious.
