Breaking Bad
Not the actual telly show, I've never watched it, but people telling me how great it is. If I ever get round to watching it there's not a chance it can live up to all the hype.

Peperamis too (Or is Peperami plural? I don't know) used to love them, now I hate them. They also claim on the packet that they're 145% pork. Lying bastards.

Yeah, I overhyped BrBa to my friend
Now he's avoiding it. The worse the hype gets, the faster he runs away. I hope he's just waiting till things subsides. He's a TV nut and Sopranos fan - there's no reason why he shouldn't like it.

I did the same with the Wire
then years later (last year) I thought why not and watched it
and fuck me it's bloody good.

When loads of and loads of people are banging on about a TV show it's for a good reason. Maybe BrBa won't live up to the hype but it's a great show the acting is top notch it's got a fantastic soundtrack.

Me and Mrs Duck joined late (all 5 series had sreened in the US) and were watching it on and off until about 2/3 through series 2 then ALL we watched was BrBa until we had seen them all. It's a slow burn but it gets you ;) and it's better than most of the shit on the TV at the moment

If I like it I'll get the rest. I couldn't get into The Wire, nor 24, which I'd heard good things about.

My friend did the same to me with Arrested Development, as such I have no interest in watching it.
Breaking Bad is definitely worth watching though.
