hot dogs
my brother in law once gave me the following piece of advice: don't eat another hot dog until you've watched How It's Made. well, i watched the episode on how hot dogs are made.
i've never eaten a hot dog since.

Do I really want to know...
Is it all mechanically reclaimed?
You have me concerned now.

what does it matter?
have you eaten them before? did you enjoy the taste? has it done you any harm?

if the answers are yes, yes and no then it makes no difference how they are made, or what of. You could probably have guessed in the first place. it's not exactly going to be the prime cuts.

Yeah, I always knew that,
but I still like to be aware of what I put in my body *cough*.

As an aside, I don't eat stones and I'm not too fond of wood.
I'm about as far from veggie as I can get, but I wouldn't eat roadkill!

*Starts looking for decent hot dogs*
Are frankfurters the same? (Sobs)

That actually wasn't any where near as bad as I was expecting.

Try seeing
how pork pies are made. The way they get the jelly is charming.

I can no longer stomach pork pies.
