Unless you feel that everyone in the world who has an internet connection is retarded?
I'll agree I'm not the sharpest tool, and Steve Jobs may not be either -- but I'm sure even the likes of Tim Berners-Lee, Linus Torvalds, Adi Shamir and Bruce Schneier* have had internet arguments.

Depends what you use.
The newsgroups, forums* and comments pages I have frequented tend to be populated largely by "Grammer Nazis" -- so any post which isn't written in English isn't taken seriously.
I could also be pedantic and point out that any email disagreement which includes people on different domains is also an internet argument.

Pretty much, yeah.
There's something about the internet that just instantly lowers the level of debate. I think it's the fact you're talking to words on a screen, rather than a real person.
