Hell yeahIt also works well for making newbies feel accepted and gets them on your side :)
Goes well with the advice my mother gave to never say "No, but..."
If you disagree with the person say "Yes, but..." it makes them feel like they've been heard and they're more likely to actually listen to what you say rather than get defensive and keep trying to make the same point over and over. Stupidly simple, but it works well.
