...very true. Looking at the coin's decision will always, always tell you what you really want. Problem is, there's sometimes more than one choice, which is where you need a good sturdy die.
Now, I'll admit that my default reaction is to 'rolladdeesixferit' (relic of my Warhammer days) rather than a coin - there must be scores of dice lying about the house - because there's more possibilities - up to six different choices to be made at the whim of fate.
The problem is, there's always a one in six chance of it being a 1, which means I spend a lot more time than I'd like going to the flat downstairs and raping my mate's girlfriend.

All my mates said it was a good book, I gave up 3 1/4 of the way through..

by my dad, when I was a young impressionable thing. He absolutely railed against it, in a manner reminiscent of the Daily Fail's BAN THIS SICK FILTH. So when I found a copy on his bookshelves, naturally I had to see what was so appalling. I didn't get much past the raping-Arlene bit before I was caught. The book was given a sound thrashing and I was torn up and thrown in the bin.

the guy who gave it to me said "don't let it change your life" and guess what? It didn't!
The book itself is well written and entertaining, as I recall. You'd have to be a bit tragic to seriously take it seriously. The coolest thing about is telling other people you have read it.
OTOH, Fear and Loathing in las vagas really is a book to live your whole life by.
